Humor, awkwardness, and hope run in parallel as the protagonist navigates digital dating culture.

The middle act shifts into relationship-building: first dates, emotional trust, domestic rituals, conflict, and chosen family. The musical treats queer partnership as daily practice rather than fantasy, highlighting communication, vulnerability, and repair when trust is stressed.

The final act confronts terminal illness, caregiving, and grief with direct emotional language.
